This mystic beauty was captured along the north coastal route of Maine’s storied Route 1. The area has many lakes and this is a water body near East Machias that leads to the protected Long Point conservation at Machias Port.

The area is rich in geological, archaeological and culture history. It is very remote and is best reached by private transportation. The northern and eastern coastlines of Maine boast some of the most pristine and wilderness like ecosystems of the US.
